As children grow, some verses make them understand who God is and how powerful he is. Through these verses, kids are going to know that God is mighty, and he needs to be obeyed because that is the duty of every human being in the world.
#1. Acts 16:31, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved
This is a verse that keeps children know that God can save us from danger, poverty or sin. In their minds, they know that God is a Savior on everything including exams, sickness and poverty. Through this, they can appreciate that God is powerful.
#2. Proverbs 14:5 – An honest witness does not lie, a false witness breath lies
Such teachings make kids appreciate that God does not entertain lies and so people need, to be frank. They will always behave innocently and ensure that they always open up in anything. Through honesty, they are going to be sure children of God. Honesty is what should be taught to kids.
#3. Psalm 150:6 – Let everything that has breath praise the Lord
This verse will always remind kids that our ultimate role in this world is to praise the Lord and nothing else. Through praising the Lord, their faith will be up always. Praising the Lord itself is one way of earning blessings from above.
#1. Make them recite some familiar and relevant bible verses
There are verses that you should make children describe them so that they know what Christianity is all about. These verses include John 3;16 which explains the love of God to people by sacrificing his only son. Such verses make kids appreciate that God cares about the human being a lot, and they will live to believe in God.
#2 Pray together on some things
The best way to make kids believe in God is by ensuring that they know God works. Select prayer items and ensure that you pray together with the kids. If God works, take your time to explain to them. Take some biblical examples of the power of a prayer and teach them and ensure that you make them know how to pray. You can even show them how to fast, how to behave when fasting and when they should fast. This is a good way to nurture them spiritually.
#3. Make them understand that nothing is impossible with God.
Always work to avoid kids from doubting God. You can use examples from the Bible about how God worked in scenarios that seemed hopeless to believers. Think of teaching them about Lazaro’s resurrection, turning water into wine, Feeding of the 5000 people, saving of the Israelites from Pharaoh’s the great witch in Egypt and how Jonah was swallowed by a whale and delivered to another place that he had rejected earlier when God sent him. Through such things, children will have an understanding that God can make possible what seems to be impossible.
#4. Going to church and Sunday schools
They meet friends in Christ and encourage one another through the guidance of teachers. This is what makes them know the kind of friends to mingle with to avoid sliding back.
Everyone has his or her way of living, but when it comes to Christianity, you can be more than a beneficiary. Your kid can become anything depending on the way you raise him or her. As a matter of fact, we all want better people to grow from our children, and this does not come quickly. In this world, you are either evil or holy, so if you don’t make your kid a Christian, you make him or her to be evil.
#1. Boost their wisdom
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Wisdom has no age or gender requirements for the people who fear the Lord. Teaching Christianity ways to kids make them to be more efficient in decision making and problem-solving skills. God equips them with the power they need to accomplish various duties that are of importance to themselves and the society as a whole. Look at how baby Jesus was an inspiration at the age of twelve that is how kids are going to be if nurtured well in Christianity.
#2. Criminal mentality erased
Christianity teaches about honesty and self-respect. It teaches about the commandments of God that God gave to Moses on Mt Sinai. Through this teaching, kids know that some actions annoy God, and the reward of these measures is death. These instructions make them abide by righteousness and be a mirror and example of God’s image to the world. Being Christians makes kids holy and believes in God. The Bible can teach about life and money so children will not involve themselves in anything that violates God’s commands to get money.
